Description

In the warrens beneath the city, the skittering of clawed feet on stone is the last warning you get before the volleys begin.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 4 of the Toxic Ratfolk range by Galaad Miniatures — a heavily-built ratfolk soldier caught mid-advance, clutching a multi-barrelled crossbow with the grim focus of someone who has done this many, many times before. His broad shoulders are fitted with chunky pressurised canisters and mechanical armour plating, suggesting a wretched industrial underbelly where ratfolk have weaponised alchemical toxins into a full military doctrine. The digitigrade stance and bared fangs communicate readiness rather than frenzy — this is a trained combatant, not a feral scavenger.

The second sculpt shown in the image presents a companion variant in a turning pose, also equipped with canister-laden back gear and mechanical armour, offering a different silhouette for warbands, skirmish units, or encounter variety. Together they bring real depth and movement to a ratfolk faction on the table. Both work brilliantly as rank-and-file soldiers, elite scouts, or lieutenants in a larger toxic underdark force — and they're equally at home on a collector's display shelf as they are in the heat of a session.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Are building a ratfolk warband or underdark faction for D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
  • Need a distinctive enemy soldier to populate a toxic lair or sewer dungeon encounter
  • Want character-driven sculpts that reward close painting — the armour panels, canisters, and facial detail all respond brilliantly to washes and highlights
  • Collect fantasy miniatures with a steampunk or alchemical aesthetic

Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to investigate a rash of poisonings in the merchant quarter — trace amounts of an unknown compound, no witnesses, no bodies. The trail leads beneath the street to a flooded tunnel network where Toxic Ratfolk shock troops have established a forward operating post, stockpiling canisters of something that smells of sulphur and burnt copper. Their commander is expecting a supply run. The party arrives instead.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue brings them together cleanly. The sculpted base is designed to complement the model's pose, so we recommend attaching it as intended. Minor imperfections from the printing process may occasionally occur; any residual marks are straightforward to clean up before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brush.
