Description

It didn't wear the mask for protection — it wore it as a trophy, stripped from the last adventurer foolish enough to follow it into the tunnels.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 03 of the Toxic Ratfolk range by Galaad Miniatures, and it's a sculpt that demands attention at the table. The ratfolk warrior lunges forward in a dynamic combat stance, a long blade raised high and its bare, clawed feet planted wide for the strike. What sets this pose apart is the grotesque detail of the gas mask strapped tight across its snout — mechanical, industrial, deeply unsettling — alongside segmented tubing that coils from the mask down across its shoulder. A gear-like device sits at its hip, and ragged cloth wraps its torso and legs, giving the impression of something that has survived far too many encounters with far too many chemicals.

Whether you're running a city underbelly campaign, a plague-ridden dungeon crawl, or a warband of scavenging ratkin raiders, this miniature brings genuine menace to the encounter mat. Equally at home on a display shelf for painters who appreciate intricate characterful sculpts, the detail on the mask and tubing rewards careful brushwork.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a distinctive skaven-style enemy or recurring villain for sewer and undercroft encounters
  • Are building a ratfolk warband or plague cult for their campaign
  • Want a miniature that doubles as a striking display piece for painting projects
  • Are collecting the full Toxic Ratfolk range alongside poses 01 and 02

Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to investigate a series of disappearances along the tannery district — three workers gone in as many nights. On the fourth night, staking out the drainage culvert, they hear the hiss of pressurised gas and see the glow of two red eyes above a riveted mask. The Toxic Ratfolk doesn't run. It was waiting for them.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces and attach with superglue. The decorative base complements the sculpt and is recommended for the best presentation — some models interact directly with their base design. The miniature arrives support-cleaned and fully cured, ready to prime and paint or use straight from the box. Minor surface marks from the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
