Description

She sprinted past the market stalls before anyone could stop her, one hand raised in greeting — or warning — and something urgent in her wide-open eyes.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This lively townsfolk miniature from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures a young village girl caught mid-run — one knee lifted, arm thrown high, mouth open as if calling out across a busy square. Her twin pigtails are sculpted with impressive detail, and a thick rope belt knotted at her waist gives her a charmingly practical, peasant-village feel. At 27mm to the top of her raised hand, she reads clearly on the table without overwhelming the scene around her.

Whether she's a merchant's daughter sprinting to warn the party about approaching guards, a street urchin who just pocketed something she shouldn't have, or the child at the centre of a missing persons quest that draws your adventurers into something far darker — this sculpt carries real narrative energy. She works equally well as a background townsperson in a village encounter or as a named NPC your players will actually remember. She's just as rewarding to paint and display as she is to deploy mid-session.

A good fit for adventurers who:

  • Need a convincing child NPC for village, market, or urban encounters
  • Are running a rescue mission, a street-level investigation, or a coming-of-age story arc
  • Want a characterful townsfolk piece that rewards careful painting — the hair detail and rope belt both take washes beautifully
  • Collect folk miniatures for display alongside their wider TTRPG scene builds

Encounter Hook:
The party has barely dismounted in the village of Thornhallow when a girl — pigtails flying, sandals slapping cobblestones — skids to a halt in front of them, arm raised and breathless. She's the miller's youngest, and she's just seen someone drag her father into the old granary. Whatever is happening in Thornhallow, it started about ten minutes ago, and she's the only one who knows.

This is Townsfolk 03, the third sculpt in Yasashii Kyojin Studio's Townsfolk range — each variation features a distinct character and pose, so adventurers building out a full village scene can collect the complete set. Printed at 32mm scale (27mm to the top of the raised hand). Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each piece is printed to a high standard with supports removed; minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before painting.
