The Totemic Stag Throne is a centrepiece scatter terrain piece that carries its own mythology. A great stag skull crowns the high back, its branching antlers reaching upward like the canopy of an ancient wood. The throne's back panel is carved with intricate knotwork — a solar medallion at its crown and a stylised bloom below, framed by a border of runic detail. Gnarled roots and draped figures kneel at the base, as though in reverence or supplication, the whole structure rising from a mass of twisted tree roots that anchor it to the earth. This is not furniture — it is a sacred site, a seat of primal authority.
Whether you're placing it at the centre of a druid conclave, the throne room of a Archfey court, or a forgotten woodland shrine long reclaimed by nature, this piece does the narrative heavy lifting the moment it hits the table. Encounter Hook:
The party has been tasked with preventing an ambitious druid from completing a ritual to bind a dying Archfey to the mortal plane. They arrive at the Stag Throne to find it already occupied — not by the druid, but by the Archfey itself, translucent and flickering, asking the adventurers to let it go. The druid arrives moments later. Both want the party's help. Neither is telling the whole truth.
Scaled to 32mm. The base is integrated into the sculpt as seen — the roots and kneeling figures form part of the terrain piece itself. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming; equally characterful left in its natural resin tone for use straight away.
