Description
The chains bit deep long before the party ever found him — and now, iron collar still bolted about his neck, he lurches forward with the desperate energy of a man who has nothing left to lose.

This sculpt from M3DM captures a gaunt, heavily scarred human in the throes of desperate movement. An iron ring is bolted around his neck, thick chains trail from his wrists and ankles, and iron spikes pierce the collar in a grim testament to prolonged captivity. Despite his broken state, there is ferocious life in his pose — weight shifted forward, one arm outstretched and reaching, the other braced with a trailing chain. Every fold of tattered clothing and every hollow of his emaciated frame tells a story of suffering that predates your party's arrival by years.
Two poses are available in this range — this action pose shows him mid-lunge, chains swinging. A second, more composed standing pose is listed separately for adventurers who want both moments captured on the table.
Whether you're running a gothic horror campaign, a dungeon crawl through a devil's prison, or a grim urban arc involving slavers and broken souls, this miniature brings immediate narrative weight the moment it hits the mat. He works equally well as a tragic NPC your players are desperate to save, a maddened thrall turned loose by a villain, or a haunting display piece in a Ravenloft-inspired collection.
A fine addition for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable, story-rich NPC for dungeon or horror encounters
- Are running campaigns with themes of captivity, tyranny, or redemption arcs
- Want a centrepiece display miniature with genuine emotional impact
- Are collecting character studies that reward careful, layered painting
Encounter Hook:
The iron door at the end of the corridor swings open on its own — and through it staggers a figure the party recognises from the missing persons board in town, chains dragging behind him, eyes wild and fixed on something only he can see. He is reaching towards them. Whether he is begging for help or about to attack, no one can say.

What's included:
This miniature is printed at 32mm scale. The model on the textured rocky base comes as a single piece, fully attached. It arrives ready for priming and painting, though it is equally striking left unprimed on the shelf. Supports are removed as standard — as with any hand-finished piece, minor marks may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up before painting.
