This is the Torture Rack 01 from Novaminis — a grim and thoroughly detailed piece of dungeon furniture that speaks volumes before a single word of narration is needed. The sculpt features a heavy timber-framed rack bed, a large rope-wound winch drum mounted on a spoked wheel mechanism, and the kind of worn, grain-textured woodwork that makes you feel the weight of the thing. Every plank, rivet, and coil of rope has been rendered with the clarity you'd want for close-up play or display.
This is the first variant in the Torture Rack range from Novaminis — a standalone piece that functions equally well as a centrepiece for an interrogation room, a background horror detail in a tyrant's keep, or a chilling prop in a Ravenloft-style investigation. It sits naturally alongside other dungeon scatter pieces and rewards a wash-and-drybrush paint job that brings out all that woodgrain detail.

Encounter Hook:

The winch wheel is the only cover in the room. Do they fight, bluff, or run?
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. The piece arrives ready to prime and paint, or to use straight from the box as unpainted dungeon scatter. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied with a craft knife or fine file.
