Tortle Monk - Baenya by DnD Is A Woman
Description
She moves like water around stone — one knee raised, staff sweeping skyward, her prayer beads barely swaying as she prepares to strike.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Baenya is a Tortle Monk of quiet intensity and kinetic grace. Robed in layered travelling clothes and adorned with a broad-brimmed hat and a string of meditation beads, she carries herself with the unhurried confidence of someone who has spent decades perfecting a single spinning blow. Her raised-knee stance and diagonal staff grip capture that razor-thin moment between stillness and explosive motion — the breath before the storm. Whether she's a wandering pilgrim upholding an ancient monastic code or a former temple guardian with a score to settle, Baenya arrives at the table already in character.
Sculpted with crisp detail across her wrapped bracers, layered obi-style sash, and textured shell, she holds her pose with a naturalness that makes her equally compelling as a gaming piece and a display centrepiece. Tortle monks are a rare find, and Baenya fills that gap with real personality.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Play or DM Monk characters seeking a distinctive Tortle sculpt
- Want a female Tortle PC or named NPC with genuine presence
- Are building an Eastern-inspired or pilgrimage-themed campaign
- Collect character minis from DnD Is A Woman for painting and display
Encounter Hook:
The party finds the old stone bridge blocked — not by guards, but by a lone Tortle standing motionless on one leg, staff raised to the sky. She doesn't move when they approach. She simply says: "The monastery above has been sealed for thirty years. I am the reason. Ask your questions carefully."
Available at 32mm tabletop scale (with or without a plain black base, supplied unattached) and 54mm display scale. Bases are easily attached with superglue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail prints, minor marks can occur and are straightforward to tidy up before priming. Each piece is fully cured and ready for paint.
