Tortle by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
Ancient, unhurried, and armoured by nature itself, the Tortle has wandered the world's wild places long before any road was built through them.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This Tortle miniature captures the creature's characterful bulk with a wonderful naturalism — the heavy, ridged shell dominates the silhouette, while the broad, expressive face hints at a being that has seen centuries pass without particular urgency. Whether you're fielding it as a wandering beast, a wise NPC sage, or the unlikely subject of a druid's commune spell, this sculpt carries genuine personality in every wrinkle and scale.
The sculpt from Mia Kay M3DM is rendered in fine detail — the textured shell plating, the loose folds of skin at the neck, and the clawed feet gripping the base all read clearly at 32mm scale. Equally at home on a gaming table during a coastal or jungle encounter as it is posed on a display shelf beside your painted collection.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a characterful beast or NPC for D&D 5e and other TTRPG systems
- Are running coastal, jungle, island, or wilderness-themed campaigns
- Want a compelling painting project with rich surface texture to highlight
- Collect fantasy miniatures for display as well as play
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tasked with negotiating safe passage through the Saltmarsh mangroves — but the ancient Tortle who holds that knowledge hasn't spoken to an outsider in forty years, and it's currently blocking the only bridge, eyes half-closed, entirely unbothered by the ranger's increasingly nervous hand on their bow.
