Description

They said the old tortoise was slow — they said it right up until the moment he split the boulder in two.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This Tortle Barbarian is a powerhouse of a sculpt: a broad-shouldered, shell-backed bruiser standing in a grounded, ready stance with a massive gnarled stone-topped club clutched at his side. His plated shell serves as natural armour, and his wide, heavy-lidded face carries the unimpressed composure of someone who has survived far worse than whatever your party is about to throw at him. Every surface tells a story — ridged shell segments, warty textured skin, clawed feet planted firmly on the earth. This is a character who doesn't need to shout.

Tortles in D&D 5e are a natural fit for Barbarian classes — their racial resilience and connection to primal survival make them compelling player characters, wandering warrior monks, or ancient guardians protecting a coastal shrine. Whether you're building a sea-faring campaign or a jungle wilderness arc, this mini carries weight on the tabletop and on the display shelf in equal measure.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Are playing or DMing a Tortle Barbarian player character
  • Need a memorable warrior NPC, wandering hermit, or faction enforcer
  • Want a characterful centrepiece for a coastal, jungle, or primal campaign setting
  • Collect sculpts that reward detailed painting — the shell and club offer rich textures to bring to life

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the edge of a submerged ruin, only to find a lone Tortle seated cross-legged at the entrance — stone club resting across his knees, eyes half-closed. He doesn't move. He doesn't speak. He simply opens one eye and says: "You'll want to turn back. Whatever's in there has already beaten me twice." He doesn't look like he's been beaten once in his life.

What's included: Printed at 32mm scale. Base options available at checkout — the sculpt interacts naturally with its decorative base, so we'd recommend selecting it. The model and base are supplied as separate pieces and can be attached with a small amount of glue. Print quality is high-detail; supports are removed, though minor marks are occasionally possible and easily cleaned up.
