This is a collector's bust of extraordinary presence. The Tombsacker Cyclops bursts upward from a ruined stone plinth, his barrel chest and warped, warty hide bristling with barely contained fury. Curved horns sweep back from his snarling face — fangs bared, one eye fixed in a glare that communicates very clearly that the party made a terrible mistake. Coils of heavy rope wrap around his torso, hinting at a creature once bound, perhaps by some foolish necromancer or desperate warlord, and now very much less bound than intended. Above him, enormous flat-headed hammers of hewn stone loom like monuments to violence, their sheer mass suggesting a being who solved most of his problems by hitting them very, very hard.
The surface detail across this bust is exceptional — pocked and textured hide, individually carved rope fibres, and a face full of character that rewards close painting as much as it commands attention from across the room. Whether you place him on your hobby shelf as a finished centrepiece or use him to inspire the cave-dwelling titan your players are absolutely not ready for, he earns his space.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Want a substantial display bust that goes beyond standard miniature scale
- Are looking for a detailed painting project with rich surface texture and strong focal points
- Need a memorable visual for a campaign's ancient imprisoned giant or cursed tomb guardian
- Collect fantasy busts from independent sculptors
- Want a shelf piece that genuinely stops people mid-conversation
Encounter Hook:
The vault beneath the Ashen Barrow has been sealed for three hundred years — everyone assumed the warnings were metaphor. When the party finally breaks the outer lock, they find the Tombsacker at the centre of the chamber: still upright, still bound, but breathing. The ropes, it turns out, were the least of the original binders' precautions. The hammers, however, are free.
This bust is printed at display scale and mounted on a detailed stone plinth base, as shown. It is a display and collector piece rather than a standard gaming miniature, and is suited both to the painting table and the finished shelf. Print quality is high, with supports removed before dispatch — as with all resin work, minor clean-up marks may occasionally be present and are easily addressed.
