Description

The inscription has long since worn away, but the celtic cross atop the tomb still stands — a silent sentinel over whoever, or whatever, lies within.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This stone tomb is the kind of terrain piece that earns its place on the table the moment it lands. The sculpt captures the rough-hewn texture of aged granite, from the tiered plinth base to the raised lid and the weathered celtic cross that crowns it. Whether your campaign takes adventurers through a fog-drenched churchyard, the crumbling necropolis beneath a corrupted city, or a Ravenloft domain ruled by an undying count, this tomb anchors the scene with immediate visual weight.

It works equally well as a standalone focal piece — the tomb of a fallen noble, a sealed crypt entrance, or a suspicious sarcophagus the rogue really shouldn't be opening — or as part of a wider graveyard layout alongside other scatter terrain. Painted or left in grey, the detail holds up at every stage.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Run graveyard encounters, necromancer lairs, or undead-heavy campaigns
  • Are building a Ravenloft, Curse of Strahd, or gothic horror battle map
  • Want a centrepiece tomb to anchor a cemetery scatter layout
  • Enjoy painting aged stone textures with washes and drybrushing
  • Collect atmospheric display pieces alongside their miniature ranges

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the village graveyard to exhume the body of the murdered alderman — only to find the tomb already open, the lid shoved aside from the inside, and a trail of disturbed earth leading into the treeline. Whatever he became, it's been walking for three nights.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. This is a terrain scatter piece — supplied as a single solid model, ready to prime and paint or use straight from the box. Minor surface variation is part of the stone aesthetic and adds to the weathered character of the sculpt.

Sculpted by Ella's Arcanum Minis — visit their page to see more of their work.

Mitz & Simz — independently run by people who definitely have a favourite monster type.

Pairs well with undead hordes for Ravenloft campaigns.
