Description

He has read the last page of time itself — and now he walks backwards through moments, unravelling destinies with a skull in one hand and a spellbook in the other.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Ahmarai Waqalas is a figure of unsettling authority. Robed in layered, richly patterned garments — a quilted tunic beneath a wide decorative capelet trimmed with geometric embroidery — he carries himself with the calm of a man who already knows how this encounter ends. One hand cradles a grinning skull, the other grips an open tome, its pages thick with inscribed knowledge. Around him, two vast tentacle-like tendrils of frozen time coil from the base, as though reality itself has bent to accommodate his presence. His turban, neatly wound, and his composed expression speak of a scholar who has long since moved beyond mere ambition into something far more deliberate.

Part of DM Stash's Elves of the Golden Sun collection, this sculpt is rich with surface detail — the layered fabric, knotted rope leg-bindings, hanging pouches, and the dynamic tentacle base all reward careful painting. He works equally well as a commanding NPC, a patron with ulterior motives, or a time-magic specialist player character. Equally at home on the gaming table or a display shelf.

A good fit for adventurers who:

  • Need a time wizard, chronomancer, or arcane diviner character
  • Want a memorable named NPC — sage, villain, or enigmatic quest-giver
  • Are running campaigns involving planar travel, time anomalies, or forbidden lore
  • Collect display-quality fantasy miniatures from independent sculptors

Encounter Hook:
The party enters the ruins of an observatory to find a bearded mage standing motionless at its centre, surrounded by frozen guards and a skull suspended mid-fall. He turns to them — apparently unsurprised — and says, "You're late. Or early. I've been waiting for approximately both." His name is Ahmarai Waqalas, and he needs them to stop something that hasn't happened yet.

Details

What's included:
Ahmarai Waqalas is printed at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are printed as separate pieces and can be joined with a small amount of super glue. Note that the tentacle base is integral to the composition — the model interacts directly with it and displays best when assembled together. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all hand-finished prints, minor marks may occasionally remain and can be tidied up before priming.
