Description

It moves like a wolf but wears the face of a lion — and whatever it is, it has been tracking your party since the treeline.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This striking creature from La Louve 3D blurs the line between familiar predator and something altogether more unsettling. Part wolf in body and gait, but crowned with a dense leonine mane and a broad, heavy face, it occupies that unnerving space between natural beast and magical aberration. Whether you run it as a Displacer Beast variant, a cursed hunting hound, a Feywild predator, or a wholly homebrew apex creature, this sculpt carries genuine menace on the tabletop. The sculpt captures the animal mid-stalk — one massive paw reaching forward, weight low, body coiled — with a feathered, layered tail that hints at something arcane in its bloodline.

The detail throughout is exceptional for a creature mini at this scale: the mane is rendered with individual tufts and texture, the musculature of the haunches and shoulders reads clearly, and the oval scenic base grounds it convincingly in a natural environment. Equally at home leading a warband of feral beasts or lurking at the centre of a druid's cursed territory, this is a miniature that earns its place on both the gaming table and the display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a compelling and lore-flexible beast encounter for wilderness or Feywild campaigns
  • Play or run D&D 5e, Pathfinder, or any TTRPG with monster encounters
  • Want a creature mini with genuine character rather than a generic wolf or lion sculpt
  • Are building a painted collection of fantasy fauna and magical beasts
  • Use minis for display as well as play

Encounter Hook:
The shepherd's last words described something that came from the forest at dusk — not quite a wolf, not quite a lion, but faster than either. Tonight the party camp is at the edge of the same treeline, the fire is low, and something outside the light is breathing slowly and waiting for one of them to sleep.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of glue — the sculpt is designed to interact with its base, so we recommend using it. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or a primer coat straight away. We quality-check every piece before it leaves us, though minor surface marks from the printing process are possible and can be tidied up easily before painting.
