The Captain is a tiefling veteran soldier of unmistakable authority — a hardened fighter who has survived campaigns most soldiers only read about. Sculpted as part of DM Stash's Welcome to the Arena collection, this miniature captures a warrior in his element: deliberate, composed, and utterly formidable.

He stands in a commanding pose, right hand raising a long banner-pole across his shoulders whilst his left grips a heavy longsword, its blade angled low and ready. His expression is weathered and resolute — the face of a man who has given orders under fire and expects them to be followed. Small curved horns rise from beneath a feathered command helm, and his tiefling tail curls behind him with reptilian weight. His armour is layered and richly detailed — engraved pauldrons, a sun-embossed breastplate, articulated gauntlets, and greaves worked with fleur-de-lis motifs. A scaled travelling cloak drapes his back, its texture captured in extraordinary detail from the rear. The base is scattered with broken shield fragments, rubble, and battlefield debris — the remnants of those who stood against him.

The sculpt rewards painters at every level. The armour engravings and cloak scales offer obvious focal points, whilst the wind-caught banner and flowing cloak create dramatic compositional movement. Equally effective as a grimdark military commander or a morally complex tiefling PC with a military background.

The detailed base is integral to the sculpt and requires no additional basing materials, though adventurers are welcome to add to it.
