Tiefling Noble (Xarvir Barikdral The Fortunate) by DM Stash
Description
He never raises his voice, never draws a blade, and yet every room he enters tilts imperceptibly in his favour — Xarvir Barikdral, The Fortunate, does not believe in luck so much as he believes in being better prepared than everyone else.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Xarvir cuts a figure that blurs the line between courtly refinement and infernal menace. Dressed in an intricately embroidered military-style jacket adorned with baroque scrollwork, he leans on an ornate cane with the easy confidence of someone who has already won the negotiation. A smoking pipe rests at his lips, curved horns rise from tousled hair, and pointed ears frame a face that wears calculation like a mask of leisure. Turn him around and the story deepens — his back, partially exposed beneath the jacket, is covered in elaborate filigree tattoos that hint at pacts older than polite society would care to acknowledge.
This sculpt from DM Stash's Crucible of the Chosen collection is a gift for Dungeon Masters who need an NPC that adventurers will immediately mistrust and immediately want to impress. He reads equally well as a warlock patron's intermediary, a silver-tongued tiefling rogue, a charismatic bard of the court, or the party's most dangerous social encounter. For collectors, the detail density — from the jacket's layered ornamentation to the cobblestone base — makes this a rewarding piece to paint.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a tiefling noble NPC who commands presence without drawing a weapon
- Are building a political intrigue campaign with morally ambiguous power brokers
- Play tiefling bards, rogues, warlocks, or sorcerers with a taste for the theatrical
- Want a display piece that rewards close attention to detail
Encounter Hook:
The party has spent three sessions trying to secure an audience with the city's most influential merchant guild — only to find Xarvir Barikdral already seated at the table, pipe in hand, apparently expecting them. He knows their names, their debts, and one secret each. He has a proposal. He presents it as generosity. It is not generosity.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic cobblestone base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue is all that's needed to assemble them, and the base has been sculpted to complement the figure's stance. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all hand-finished resin work, minor marks can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up with a fine file before priming.
