Tiefling Divine Soul Sorcerer (Istar the Redeemer) by DM Stash
Description
Born of infernal blood yet touched by something far older and far holier, Istar the Redeemer stands at the threshold between damnation and grace — horns curved skyward, great feathered wings spread wide, one hand raised as divine energy coils between his fingers.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Istar is a tiefling who has refused the fate his bloodline whispered to him. A Divine Soul Sorcerer of rare conviction, he wears the marks of his heritage openly — curved ram's horns, a broad muscular frame clad in plate-shouldered armour and a flowing layered coat — whilst the enormous feathered wings at his back speak of something altogether more celestial. His pose is measured, commanding, and deliberately ambiguous: is this the moment before a blessing or before a reckoning? That tension is exactly what makes him such a compelling centrepiece at the table.
The sculpt rewards a painter's attention. Every primary feather on those great wings is individually rendered, the coat and kilt layers have clean, deep folds, and the base is scattered with open tomes — a quiet detail that speaks volumes about the character's history. Equally arresting from front, side, and rear, this is a miniature that earns a place both on the battlemat and on the display shelf.
Well-suited to adventurers who:
- Play a tiefling Divine Soul Sorcerer, Celestial Warlock, or Paladin with a complicated heritage
- Need a morally complex NPC — a fallen angel's champion, a redeemed fiend, or a celestial inquisitor
- Want a boss-tier encounter piece for a campaign arc involving the Blood War or divine politics
- Collect display miniatures that showcase exceptional wing and feather sculpting
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the cathedral to find the high priest missing and a lone figure standing at the altar — a tiefling with vast feathered wings and glowing eyes, who turns slowly and says, quietly, that he has been waiting for exactly this group, that the gods sent him a vision, and that what comes next will require a great deal of trust from everyone in this room.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces — the base features scattered open tomes and pairs particularly well with the sculpt. Printed to a high level of detail; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks are an inherent part of the process and can be tidied up before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brush.
