This is pose 06 of the Thri-Kreen Warrior range by Novaminis, and it captures one of D&D's most distinctive humanoid predators mid-engagement — four arms tensed, a double-bladed glaive levelled and ready. The sculpt leans into the Thri-Kreen's unsettling silhouette: articulated mandibles parted wide, compound eyes set beneath a ridged carapace dome, and long segmented antennae swept back in predatory focus. Ragged wrappings hang from the torso and hips — minimal cover for a creature that relies on exoskeletal armour and sheer ferocity rather than plate and shield. Clawed feet grip the base with coiled energy, as though the warrior is a single heartbeat from launching into a devastating leap.
The sculpt rewards close attention from painters — the layered chitin plating, exposed musculature, and bone-textured weapon shaft all offer excellent contrast opportunities. Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base is unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Every miniature is checked before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin work, minor support marks can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up. Fully cured and ready to prime.
