Description

It doesn't rush. It doesn't need to — four arms, two sweeping glaives, and the patience of a creature that has never once lost a hunt.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 2 of our Thri-Kreen Brute range, and it cuts a genuinely imposing silhouette. Where some warriors telegraph aggression, this brute broadcasts inevitability — wide stance, both glaives extended outward, compound-eyed head tilted in that unsettling way that says it has already calculated exactly how this ends. The chitinous armour plating across the torso and limbs, the articulated insectoid legs, and those long twitching antennae all read clearly at tabletop distance, making this a strong visual anchor for any encounter.

Thri-Kreen are perfect for desert wilderness encounters, Underdark border territories, or as mercenary muscle in a city where coin buys strange loyalties. As a brute-class threat, this sculpt works equally well as a rank-and-file warrior in a larger pack or as the pack's enforcer — the one the others let do the talking. It's a compelling display piece too, with enough surface detail across the carapace and weapons to reward careful brushwork.

A good fit for adventurers who:

  • Run desert or arid wilderness campaigns and want credible insectoid threats
  • Need a multi-armed creature that reads instantly at the table
  • Are building a Thri-Kreen warband or raiding pack encounter
  • Paint detailed armoured creatures and want strong surface texture to work with
  • Collect creature miniatures for display alongside gaming use

Encounter Hook:
The trade caravan was hit three days ago — but the claw-gouged wagon sides and the geometric precision of the ambush point to something organised, not feral. When the party crests the next dune, four sets of compound eyes are already watching them from the shadows of the rock formation ahead, and the largest of the group slowly raises both glaives in what might be a greeting or might be a challenge. The Thri-Kreen do not wait long for an answer.
