Description

It does not speak. It does not negotiate. It simply advances — bone cleaver raised, spiked flail swinging — a living instrument of whatever dark power broke its will long ago.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the Thrall 02 sculpt from Witchsong Miniatures, the second pose in their Thrall range. Where the first carries a different stance, this variant shows the creature mid-advance — a wide, powerful posture that radiates barely contained violence. The horned skull mask lends it a ritualistic menace, suggesting something between a conjured fiend and a once-mortal warrior reduced to servitude. It wears ragged armour studded with rivets and carries a massive bone-bladed cleaver in one hand and a heavy spiked flail in the other — two weapons that tell a story of smashing through anything in its path.

The sculpt sits on a craggy, rubble-strewn base that grounds it in a dungeon or blasted wasteland aesthetic. This makes it equally at home as a summoned demon, an enslaved giant, a corrupted champion, or a boss-tier encounter for a mid-level party. For painters, the textured skin, layered armour plates, and pronounced musculature offer a wealth of detail to work into.

For adventurers who:

  • Need a physically imposing demonic warrior for an encounter or boss fight
  • Are building abyssal cult encounters, corrupted temples, or infernal invasion storylines
  • Want a distinctive sculpt that reads as threatening even before it's painted
  • Collect display miniatures with strong character and visual presence

Encounter Hook:
The warlock insisted the binding ritual was foolproof. It was — for six of the seven wards. The party hears the seventh ward crack open from three rooms away, followed by the slow, deliberate sound of something very large picking up its weapons.
