Thrall 01 by Witchsong Miniatures
Description
It doesn't walk — it surges, blades forward, jaw stretched wide in a silent shriek that no longer needs lungs to make.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Thrall is something between a servant and a weapon. Once a person, perhaps — now remade by whatever power called it through. This sculpt captures the creature mid-lunge: one leg raised, twin blades extended at opposing angles, its elongated maw split open beneath a cracked horned helm. There's nothing defensive in this pose. It is pure, accelerating threat.
At the tabletop, a Thrall like this works as a cultist enforcer, a demon-touched shock trooper, or the first — and fastest — thing through the portal when the ritual goes wrong. The base is textured stone rubble, grounding this frantic motion in something solid. This is pose 01 of the Thrall range from Witchsong Miniatures, so if you're building out a warband or a corrupted retinue, keep an eye out for the other variants.
Fits adventurers who:
- Need a fast, aggressive fiend for ambush encounters or cultist-led skirmishes
- Are running campaigns involving demonic corruption, dark rituals, or Abyssal incursions
- Want a dynamic, display-worthy piece that holds its own on a shelf alongside a painted collection
- Are building out a thrall warband and want multiple poses for visual variety
Encounter Hook:
The party heard nothing before the first blade sang past the cleric's ear. Three Thralls had already cleared the stairs — the cultists hadn't followed them in. They'd sent them ahead.
