Description

They say you can hear the strings before you see him — a discordant, infernal melody drifting through the smoke, and then the Travelling Jack steps out of the flame.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Equal parts performance and menace, the Travelling Jack is a horned fiend-bard unlike anything your players will have seen across a tabletop. He wears a hollow-eyed skull mask beneath a single spiralling horn, his broad shoulders wrapped in heavy rope-braided cloth that billows behind him in tatters. In his clawed hands he clutches an ornate, heavily decorated lute — its body carved with infernal glyphs, its neck gripped with the casual confidence of someone who knows the music itself is a weapon. He strides forward from a base of churning flames and shattered rock, mid-performance, utterly unconcerned by whatever stands in his way.

The rear of the sculpt is just as considered as the front — swirling, torn cloakwork fans out behind him in dramatic folds, revealing the lute neck extended into one clawed hand while the other grips the body. Whether you place him on a dungeon shelf or across a battle grid, he commands the space around him with the quiet certainty of someone who has never once needed to raise his voice to get what he wants.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Want a distinctive fiend NPC who isn't just another generic demon
  • Are running a bard villain, infernal patron, or Avernus-flavoured campaign arc
  • Need a show-stopping display piece that doubles as a boss encounter mini
  • Love painting dramatic cloth, masked faces, and ornate musical instruments

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the crossroads tavern to find every patron frozen mid-gesture — cups raised, mouths open, utterly still. At the bar, a horned figure in a tattered cloak plays on without looking up. When he finally speaks, he addresses each character by name, describes their worst failure in exact detail, and offers to make it all go away — for a price that won't seem unreasonable until it's too late.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative flame base are supplied as separate pieces and attach securely with standard superglue. The base is sculpted to interact with the model's stance, so we recommend keeping them paired for the best result. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
