The Soul Bearer (Namneri) by DM Stash
Description
Between the living and the dead stands Namneri — neither judge nor executioner, but the silent bearer of souls whose time has finally come.
- ✔ Display-scale miniature — larger than standard 32mm gaming scale
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Equally suited to display shelves and the gaming table
Namneri is a figure of solemn celestial authority, sculpted here in a pose of quiet power that speaks volumes without a single raised weapon. Great feathered wings spread wide behind this elven-featured angel, armoured in layered robes etched with intricate filigree. One arm is outstretched, offering up an elaborate soul vessel — a crowned reliquary-like object radiating an otherworldly significance. Beside Namneri, a cracked gravestone bears witness to the moment of passing, and perched atop it sits a robed owl companion, its gaze as ancient and knowing as death itself. Every surface of this sculpt rewards close inspection: the individual feathers of the wings, the embossed panels of the flowing tabard, the ornamental base framing the entire scene like a carved altar piece.
On the tabletop, Namneri works as a psychopomp NPC, a celestial cleric patron made manifest, or the face of a divine encounter that leaves players unsure whether salvation or judgement awaits. On a display shelf, this is a centrepiece piece — the kind of sculpt that draws the eye from across the room and invites questions about the world it came from.
A fitting addition for adventurers who:
- Run campaigns where the boundary between life and death is a place, not just a concept
- Need a celestial NPC with gravitas — a guide, guardian, or divine arbiter
- Play Clerics, Paladins, or characters with ties to death-adjacent deities such as the Raven Queen or the Dawnfather
- Collect display-quality miniatures with exceptional sculpt depth
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the ruins of a plague-razed village to find Namneri already there — standing at the graveyard's edge, one arm outstretched over freshly turned earth, the owl unmoving on a cracked headstone. The souls here should have passed. They have not. Namneri turns to face the adventurers and asks, very quietly, whether they know what is holding the dead in place — because whatever it is, it is getting stronger, and Namneri cannot act against the living.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative oval base is included as a separate piece and attaches with a small amount of super glue — note that Namneri and the owl/gravestone scene interact closely with the base design, so displaying them together is strongly recommended. Minor surface marks or support remnants may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before priming.
