Description

In the jade-green courts of the east, they say Yin Zhu does not tame serpents — the serpents choose to follow, drawn by something older and stranger than magic.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Yin Zhu is a figure of quiet menace: a masked figure robed in ornate eastern armour, one hand raised in a commanding gesture as a colossal serpent rears behind and around them — scales layered like carved stone, fangs bared, hood flared wide. The relationship between charmer and beast is ambiguous and unsettling. Is this control, or partnership? Does the serpent obey, or merely agree? Either answer should worry your party.

The sculpt captures every detail with remarkable precision — from the serpent-scale motifs worked into Yin Zhu's belt and armour to the draped layered robes and wrapped mask that conceals their identity entirely. The great snake coils around and above the figure, its body forming a dramatic sweeping arc that makes this one of the most visually striking minis in the An Eastern Journey range by DM Stash. Equally at home on a battle mat or a display shelf, this piece suits collectors and Dungeon Masters alike.

A great choice for adventurers who:

  • Are running an Eastern-inspired or wuxia-themed D&D or TTRPG campaign
  • Need a memorable NPC, cult leader, or boss encounter built around serpent lore
  • Want a genuinely striking display piece with complex sculptural composition
  • Are looking for a characterful Monk, Druid, or Warlock miniature proxy

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the remote mountain monastery to find the monks all gone — their sandals still at the door, their bowls still warm. In the courtyard, a single figure stands motionless at the centre of a perfect ring of shed snakeskins, one hand raised, head tilted as though listening to something no one else can hear. When they finally turn, the party realises the great serpent coiling at their back has been watching since the gate.
