The kitsune spirit-beast is a creature of duality: grace and devastation, cunning and raw elemental power. Kyubiko embodies that contradiction in every line of her form. Nine vast tails surge outward like tongues of wildfire, each one a century of accumulated power made manifest. A shattered stone lantern lies crushed beneath one massive claw — some shrine-keeper's warning, come far too late. Flames billow across the base as she lunges forward, jaws open wide, every muscle coiled for the kill. She is not a predator in the mundane sense. She is a force.
This sculpt by DM Stash captures a creature that would be equally at home as a Feywild apex predator, a demonic spirit summoned from a far-eastern pantheon, or the catastrophic final form of a fox spirit the party wronged three sessions ago. Encounter Hook:
The village elder warned the party not to enter the Amber Grove after dusk — but the missing child's trail led straight into it. Now the trees are thinning, the stone lanterns along the path are cracked and cold, and somewhere ahead, nine points of pale light are moving through the dark in perfect formation. The ground is warm underfoot. It has been warm for some time.
Scaled to 32mm. Supplied with a detailed scenic base featuring broken stonework, a shattered lantern, and billowing flame effects — the model and base are separate pieces and can be fixed together with superglue. The model is supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Some minor clean-up of support marks may be required.
