Hadrian the Iron Colossal is a towering war-construct whose sculpt captures every bolt, piston, and plate of a being built not merely for battle, but for dominion. His body is a testament to a lost artificer's ambition — layered armour panels riveted over coiling mechanisms, circular vents pressed into a barrel chest that looks capable of weathering a siege. Spiked pauldrons and segmented gauntlets frame a silhouette that radiates barely-contained force, while the latticework detailing across his torso and limbs rewards close inspection with surprising intricacy. In one hand he cradles a mechanised maul of extraordinary scale — a multi-chambered, spike-crowned weapon that looks as though it could punch through castle gates. In the other, a spiked counterweight implies he never stops moving forward.

From the front, Hadrian reads as a challenger stepping into the light. From behind, the exposed machinery of his back — cogs, gear-wheels, exhaust vents, and bundled cabling — reveals a creature held together by engineering rather than flesh. He stands atop a detailed circular mechanical base that complements his aesthetic and locks naturally into the overall composition. This sculpt works equally well as a centrepiece encounter miniature on the tabletop or as a display piece that commands a shelf.

Encounter Hook:

None of the party carry one. The floor shakes as he turns.

Hadrian is supplied at 32mm scale and comes with his detailed mechanical base as a separate piece, designed to be attached with superglue. The base and model interact closely in composition, so we recommend displaying and using them together. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or striking straight from the box as a grey resin display piece.
