The Green Knight is one of the most iconic figures from Arthurian legend, reborn here as a towering, battle-worn champion of wild and ancient power. His armour is cracked and overgrown, his ragged cloak trailing like the edge of a dying forest, and roots claw upward from the base beneath his boots — as though the land itself is feeding him. This is a figure who does not merely fight; he presides, he challenges, he endures. Three distinct sculpt variations are available, each capturing a different moment of that implacable, unstoppable presence.

In pose one, he strides forward with a gnarled axe raised over one shoulder and his own severed head raised aloft in his off hand — the head mounted on a horned helm, wild-bearded and grimly serene. In pose two, he stands broader, sword raised skyward with the severed head held out like a grim offering. In pose three, he leans forward in a deliberate, predatory stance — axe cocked back and face fully visible, deeply lined, bearded, and pitiless. All three poses are sculpted with extraordinary surface detail: bark-like textures across the pauldrons, flame-like growth erupting from his collar, and armour that looks as though it has been worn through centuries of impossible survival.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable boss encounter rooted in Arthurian or dark fey mythology
  • Are running a campaign with themes of nature's wrath, curses, or unkillable foes
  • Want an NPC whose very presence at the table demands a story
  • Collect display-worthy pieces from folklore-inspired fantasy sculpts
  • Are looking for a centrepiece mini that rewards careful, detailed painting

Encounter Hook:
At the midwinter feast, a heavily armoured giant strides through the hall doors unbidden, roots cracking the stone floor with each step. He places a runed axe on the high table and makes a single, terrible offer: one of the party may strike at him freely — but must present themselves at the Green Chapel in one year's time to receive the return blow. He is already smiling.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative scenic base is available as a separate option and is well worth selecting — several poses interact directly with base details such as the creeping roots and ground foliage. Pieces attach easily with standard modelling glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
