From the Wicked Carols collection by Great Grimoire comes one of the most gloriously wrong-headed holiday sculpts we've ever had the pleasure of printing. The Great Old One Xmas Bauble takes the familiar silhouette of a drop-shaped Christmas bauble and fills it with something considerably less festive: a fully realised Cthulhu-esque entity, tentacles cascading from a gaping, rune-etched orb, its bulbous head cresting the top with all the serene malevolence you'd expect from a being older than time itself. The surface of the bauble is covered in carved sigils and eldritch script — the kind of decoration that makes you wonder whether the tree chose you.

This sculpt splits into two pieces, with the back of the bauble hollowed to reveal the void within. Whether you want to display it whole or show off that unsettling interior, the choice is yours. As a piece of scatter terrain it adds an immediate atmosphere of cosmic wrongness to any festive dungeon scene — or, frankly, to any shelf that's getting a bit too normal. Equally at home as a display centrepiece or a prop for a Lovecraftian one-shot, it's the kind of sculpt that makes players stop mid-session and ask where on earth you got it.

Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to retrieve a stolen family heirloom — a peculiar bauble, handed down for generations, that the client's grandmother always kept locked away. When they finally locate it in a fence's back room, one rogue picks it up to examine it, and the temperature drops ten degrees. The sigils on its surface begin to glow faintly. Somewhere beneath the floor, something shifts. The grandmother knew exactly what she was keeping locked away — and why it was never, ever supposed to be touched.

This sculpt is printed at 35mm scale. If you'd prefer a different scale, send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate you. The model is designed in two parts — the bauble body and a separate hollow back section — which can be displayed together or apart. A decorative base option is available; if selected, please let us know which of the three base styles you'd prefer. Both plain and decorative bases are supplied separately and attach easily with a small amount of glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — some minor cleanup from the print process may be needed, though we quality-check every piece before it leaves us.
