The Owaranai Oni — the Endless Demon — is no mere Abyssal brute. This is a warrior of terrible refinement: a hulking figure clad in intricately layered samurai armour, twin curved blades crossed before him in a low fighting stance that speaks of a thousand duels already won. The sculpt captures him mid-challenge — weight forward, knees bent, each blade angled with the patience of something that has simply outlasted every opponent it has ever faced. His horned helm, ornate shoulder guards, braided waist sash, and bound greaves are rendered with extraordinary detail, right down to the carved rings and knotwork across his torso. The scenic rocky base grounds him in a moment of stillness before violence — a brief pause that will not last.

The images show two distinct head variants of this pose: one with a full horned oni mask and topknot, one with the mask absent and a scarred, grimacing face exposed beneath the same helmet — offering a subtle but meaningful choice for how you wish to portray this character at your table. Whether you run him as a demon-blooded Fighter, a corrupted Monk, an oni warlord commanding lesser spirits, or a player character who carries the weight of centuries behind their eyes, this sculpt brings genuine presence to both gaming sessions and display collections alike.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a formidable oni boss, rival warrior, or battlefield commander for their campaign
  • Are playing or DMing an Eastern-inspired or Ravenloft-adjacent setting
  • Want a dual-wielding Fighter, Monk, or Barbarian PC miniature with serious visual weight
  • Are building a display collection of high-detail samurai or demon-themed sculpts

Encounter Hook:
The party was hired to retrieve a stolen war banner from a mountain shrine — but when they arrive, they find it already claimed. Seated on the temple steps, blades resting across his knees, is a figure the village elder recognises with a pale face and a single word: Owaranai. He has come for something older than the banner. He has come for the one who bears his bloodline.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be joined with superglue — note that the character interacts naturally with the base terrain, so the pairing is worth preserving. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks from support removal are possible; these are straightforward to tidy before painting.

The cats rolled Arcana to understand why humans spend so much time on tiny figures. They failed the check. They stayed anyway.
