The Enchanted Duo are a pair of masked court figures sculpted in the opulent style of a grand masquerade. The male figure is dressed in an ornate doublet with a ruffled Elizabethan collar and puffed sleeves embellished with scrollwork, his identity concealed behind a half-mask as he reaches out one hand — an invitation or a warning, depending on your campaign. His companion wears a flowing gown with a tiered ruffled hem that catches the air as she turns, her own mask set into an expression of cool composure, both hands raised as though weaving enchantment into the very air between them. Their poses are charged with tension — the kind of wordless conversation that happens when two people know far too much about each other.
Whether these are Bard NPCs holding court at a noble gala, disguised Warlocks trading favours at a Glasya-sponsored soirée, or the two recurring figures your players keep catching glimpses of across very different cities, this pair brings instant intrigue to any scene. Equally at home on a display shelf as on a gaming table, they reward careful painters and look striking even unpainted.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Run intrigue-heavy campaigns with noble courts, secret societies, or masked factions
- Need memorable NPC pairs that suggest history between them without a word of exposition
- Want a display-worthy duo piece that commands attention on any shelf
- Are building a masquerade ball encounter and want the atmosphere to match the drama
Encounter Hook:
The party has been invited to the Duchess of Velmoor's winter gala — ostensibly to recover a stolen seal. But every time they turn around, the same two masked guests are there: once near the wine, once on the balcony, once far too close to the locked study. They never speak to the party. They never stop watching.
Both miniatures are included in this listing and are printed at 35mm scale. If you'd prefer a different scale, just send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate you. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please include a note specifying which of the three base styles you'd like. Bases arrive separate and are easily attached with a small amount of glue. Minis arrive with supports removed and fully cured, ready for priming and painting straight away.
