The Drowned are what remains when a sailor's fury refuses to yield to death. This sculpt captures one mid-attack, tattered robes clinging to a decaying frame, one arm overtaken by the creeping rot of whatever dark tide claimed it. The jaw is wrenched open in a silent scream, sword raised overhead in a two-handed grip that suggests neither mercy nor hesitation. A ship's wheel fragment at its feet tells the story without a word of exposition needed — this was once crew, once living, once someone's shipmate.
Whether you're building an undead armada, a cursed harbour encounter, or a ghost ship crawling up from the depths, The Drowned slots naturally into any nautical horror scenario. Equally at home on a gaming table or a display shelf, this is the kind of sculpt that makes your adventurers look twice before boarding.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run nautical, coastal, or ghost ship campaigns
- Need undead crew members for a cursed vessel encounter
- Want a display piece with immediate narrative presence
- Are building a undead horde with real character variety
Encounter Hook:
The party's longboat scrapes against the hull of the Pale Meridian — three weeks adrift and silent. Before anyone can light a torch, something swings down from the rigging: a waterlogged figure in shredded sailor's clothes, sword already raised, the flesh of its left arm blackened and swollen past recognition. It doesn't stop. It doesn't slow. The Drowned are home.
This miniature is printed at 35mm scale — if you'd prefer 32mm, just send us a message and we'll adjust it for you. A decorative base (featuring shipwreck-themed scatter) is available as an option — if you select it, please drop us a note letting us know which of the three base styles you'd like. The base arrives separate and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks can occasionally occur and are straightforward to tidy up with a file or blade.
