Brekken the Brazen Bard cuts a figure of easy confidence, perched on a tavern stool with a barrel beneath his boots and an ornately carved lute cradled in his arms. His wide-brimmed hat, feathered and sun-badged, sits low over his brow as he leans into a melody only he can hear. The quilted gambeson on his back speaks of a bard who's seen enough trouble to dress for it, and the shortsword tucked behind him suggests the music isn't always enough to get him out of it. A small chest, a clay jug, and a gnawed log scatter the base around him — the accumulated detritus of a life lived between stages and scrapes.
The sculpt rewards every angle. From the front, Brekken's lute dominates — its body covered in fine scrollwork and its strings rendered with crisp individual detail. From the back, that sun-emblazoned hat and the quilted texture of his armour make him a character worth turning in your fingers before he ever reaches the table. Brekken is printed at 32mm scale. The figure and its detailed tavern base are supplied as separate pieces — a small amount of superglue will bond them securely, and the base is sculpted to interact naturally with the pose. As with all our miniatures, Brekken arrives ready for priming and painting, or looks characterful straight from the box as an unpainted display piece.
