Morius defies the comfortable categories of fiend or undead. It is something more unsettling: an entity that wears the trappings of celestial form — great feathered wings spanning wide in every direction, a leonine skull crowned with bone — yet overflows with clustered, unblinking eyes that burst from its maw like a grotesque liturgy. The back of the creature reveals a fused spinal column rising through layered wing sheaths, suggesting a body that has grown beyond its original shape through sheer accumulated power. This is not a demon you summon. This is something that arrives when the conditions are simply right.

For Dungeon Masters, Morius works beautifully as the physical manifestation of a death god's will, a corrupted seraphim stripped of mercy, or the final form of a deity whose followers have long since been forgotten.
