Description

Once a guardian of an ancient grove, Tharok the Deathmaw was twisted by something older and crueller than any druid's curse — now he stalks the blighted wood, trailing chains and hunger in equal measure.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Tharok is no gentle nature spirit. His hollow ribcage, bark-textured flesh, and curling crown of dead-wood horns speak of a being that has crossed the threshold between the Feywild and something far darker. Gaunt limbs end in raking claws, a length of heavy chain hangs from his waist like a trophy, and his expression carries the cold fury of a protector who has long since abandoned protection. Whether you place him as a corrupted archfey lieutenant, a cursed dryad boss encounter, or a unique aberration stalking the edges of a blighted forest, Tharok commands the table the moment he's set down.

The sculpt captures extraordinary anatomical detail — deeply carved bark-grain texture across every limb, engraved spiral motifs on his thigh guards, and a flowing base of twisted roots that gives the whole piece real dynamism. The third image reveals that the base is a separate scenic element (a sweeping root formation complete with a small potion vial nestled at its curve), allowing for display flexibility. Printed at 35mm scale, every line of that emaciated torso and every groove in those horns comes through with clarity.

A fine choice for adventurers who:

  • Need a boss-level fey or plant-type monster for a corrupted forest arc
  • Are building encounters around blighted Feywild or nature-gone-wrong themes
  • Want a centrepiece miniature that works equally well on the game table and the display shelf
  • Enjoy painting highly textured organic sculpts with deep recesses for washes and contrast paints

Encounter Hook:
The druid's Speak with Plants spell connects — but the voice that answers is not the forest's. It is Tharok's, and it tells the party that the grove remembers who cut down the standing stones three centuries ago. One of their surnames is familiar to him. He is already moving through the trees.

Tharok the Deathmaw is printed at 35mm scale (slightly larger than standard 32mm — please message us if you'd prefer a rescaled version and we'll do our best to help). The decorative scenic base is included as a separate piece, ready to attach with a small amount of glue. A plain black base option is also available — please leave a note at checkout specifying your preference. The miniature arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or striking straight from the box as a display piece.
