Some threats announce themselves with armour and war cries. This one is already behind you. The Tavern Assassin is caught in a low, coiled crouch — one knee down, body compact, weight forward — the posture of someone who has survived long enough to know that patience is sharper than any blade. Her face is wrapped in a close-wound scarf, leaving only calculating eyes exposed, and her long hair is pulled back in a practical tail that won't get in the way when things turn ugly.

She carries an arsenal for close, silent work: a short blade gripped firmly in one hand, a matching dirk held low at her side, and across her back two longer swords cross-sheathed and ready. Rope is looped at her waist — utility or a garrotte, depending on the contract. Her quilted armour and layered travelling cloak speak to someone who spends as much time on the road between jobs as in the smoky back rooms where those jobs are arranged. Belt pouches and a small satchel suggest she came prepared for complications.
