Tarrasque by Monster Atlas
Description
It does not hunt. It does not stalk. It simply arrives — and the world rearranges itself around the horror of that fact.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Tarrasque is D&D's most notorious engine of destruction: a Monstrosity of such catastrophic scale that entire civilisations have built religions around praying it stays asleep. This sculpt from Monster Atlas captures that primal terror with extraordinary craft — jaws wrenched open to reveal rows of serrated teeth, a crown of swept-back horns, sail-like dorsal spines fanning across a heavily armoured back, and four taloned limbs tensed with coiled, unstoppable momentum. Every textured scale, every articulated claw, every ridge of bone-like plating has been rendered with the kind of obsessive detail that rewards close inspection on the gaming table and on the display shelf alike. Two renders are shown from the front and sides, revealing just how much drama is packed into this sculpt from every angle.
Whether you're fielding this as the centrepiece of a continent-shaking BBEG encounter or painting it as the crown jewel of your monster collection, this is a miniature that commands a room. It scales at 32mm and arrives ready to prime and paint — or use unpainted straight from the base if your party's fate needs deciding immediately.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a legendary BBEG capable of ending a campaign in spectacular fashion
- Are running an epic-tier D&D 5e or TTRPG session and want a focal point that lands with genuine weight
- Paint large-scale monsters and want a sculpt that rewards every brushstroke
- Collect display-quality fantasy miniatures and want the Tarrasque done properly
Encounter Hook:
The seismologists called it a tremor. The scholars called it subsidence. It was the party's ranger — watching the horizon from the city walls at dawn — who saw the tree line simply stop existing, ridge by ridge, and understood that the thing moving beneath the earth was not moving beneath it any more.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model and its scenic rocky base are supplied as separate pieces and attach securely with super glue — the base is sculpted to complement the pose, so we recommend displaying them together. As with all detailed sculpts of this complexity, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present; these are easily tidied up before priming.
