Description

Hand raised against the glare of the desert sun, Tariq al-Rashid reins his horse to a halt — he has spotted something on the horizon that the rest of the party has not yet seen.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Tariq al-Rashid is a mounted scout and desert traveller rendered in two distinct poses, both captured in this listing. The first shows him astride a cantering horse, one hand shielding his eyes as he scans the distance — alert, focused, and clearly experienced at reading terrain. The second pose places his horse in a rearing, dynamic stride, Tariq's robes billowing as he turns sharply. Both sculpts feature exceptional detail in the horse's musculature and tack, as well as the rider's wrapped headcloth, layered travelling garments, and saddlebags.

Whether you need a reliable desert guide, a skilled outrider in service to a desert faction, a Ranger built for open terrain, or a morally ambiguous NPC who knows the land far better than your party does — Tariq al-Rashid brings genuine character to the table. He works equally well as a mounted enemy scout who spots the party before they spot him, or as a weathered ally leading adventurers through trackless wastes.

Splendid for adventurers who:

  • Run desert, caravan, or Silk Road-inspired TTRPG campaigns
  • Need a named mounted NPC or rival scout with real presence on the table
  • Want a mounted Ranger or Fighter miniature with a distinct cultural flavour
  • Collect display pieces with strong narrative character
  • Are building an overland travel encounter with a memorable focal point

Encounter Hook:
Three days into the Amber Wastes, the party crests a dune to find a lone horseman already watching them — hand raised to his brow, utterly still. He doesn't reach for a weapon. He simply waits. Tariq al-Rashid knows exactly who they are, where they're going, and why that's a problem. The question is whether he's been sent to stop them or to warn them.

What's included:
This listing includes the Tariq al-Rashid miniature printed at 32mm scale (note: the original sculpt is designed at 35mm — if you'd like it adjusted, just send us a message). The model arrives printer-ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box. A plain black base is included; a decorative base is available as an option — if selected, please include a note with your preferred base style. Rider and horse components are printed separately for ease of assembly and can be joined with a small amount of hobby glue.
