Table w/ Wares by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
Somewhere between the smithy and the alehouse, a trader has laid out their wares — potions, coils of rope, locked chests, and curiosities that may or may not be entirely legal.
- ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
This scatter terrain piece is the kind of detail that transforms a featureless grid into a living, breathing market square or bazaar. The table surface is packed with storytelling props: squat potion bottles, rope bundles, a small locked chest, decorative vessels, and various trinkets that any self-respecting travelling merchant — or fence — might hawk to passing adventurers. The whole piece sits on a cobblestone oval base, giving it a grounded, scene-ready presence whether it's dropped into a city encounter, a frontier trading post, or the entrance hall of a thieves' guild.
As a scatter piece it works hard: blocking line of sight, justifying why that rogue is always darting behind things, and giving NPCs a natural focal point. On a display shelf or diorama board, it reads just as well — a snapshot of everyday fantasy commerce in miniature form.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need market, bazaar, or trading post scatter for town and city encounters
- Want to add narrative detail and cover to their battle maps
- Are building diorama scenes or display vignettes with a merchant theme
- Enjoy painting detailed prop pieces with lots of varied surface texture
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the stolen amulet to a sprawling night market — and there it is, brazenly displayed on a trader's table alongside a dozen other dubious artefacts. The merchant clocks their interest immediately and reaches beneath the table for something that definitely isn't more rope.
Scaled to 32mm. The model on the detailed base comes as a single attached piece; the plain-base version has the base detached for easy gluing. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or use it unpainted for instant table presence. Some minor marks from the printing process are possible — these are easily tidied up and don't affect the finished look once primed.
