Description
Every great adventure begins around a table — whether that's where the party plots, drinks, or narrowly avoids a bar fight.
- ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
Scatter terrain is the difference between a gaming table and a gaming world. This tavern table from Novaminis is exactly the kind of humble, hardworking piece that grounds every scene it appears in — the sort of furniture your adventurers shove aside during a brawl, huddle around with a map, or slam an ominous letter down upon before the quest truly begins.
Whether you're dressing a bustling inn in a market town, furnishing a dungeon warden's quarters, or building out a full tavern diorama, a well-placed table anchors the space in a way that character miniatures alone simply cannot. Novaminis have a knack for this kind of atmospheric detail, and this piece is no exception.
Supplied unpainted, it's a welcoming canvas for any painter — a simple wash and drybrush can bring out the grain and wear of well-used wood in minutes, or you can go full heirloom oak with layered highlighting. Either way, it earns its place on the table.
Particularly well-suited for adventurers who:
- Run tavern scenes, inn encounters, or urban campaign settings
- Want to add depth and atmosphere to dungeon or settlement maps
- Are building display dioramas featuring character miniatures at rest
- Love the kind of background detail that makes players feel truly immersed
Encounter Hook: The party has been told to meet their contact at the Crooked Lantern Inn at midnight. Three identical-looking tables are occupied by hooded figures — each one sitting alone, each one nursing a drink, none of them looking up. The Dungeon Master grins. The players reach for their dice.
