Tabaxi Monk Ray by DnD Is A Woman

She moves before the initiative order begins — a blur of fur, focused breath, and whirling staff that leaves opponents wondering where their action went.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Ray is a Tabaxi Monk mid-form — weight shifted low, one bare-clawed foot grounding her stance while the other lifts, staff swinging diagonal across her body as her free fist raises at the shoulder. There is nothing wasted in the pose. Every line of the sculpt reads economy of motion: the braided belt cord, the layered robe panels flaring behind her hip, the forearm wraps over her wrists. Her leonine face carries the measured calm of someone who has already decided how this fight ends.

DnD is a Woman sculpts characters who read as people first and archetypes second, and Ray is a fine example of that philosophy. The textile work on her robes — layered hems, a knotted belt, fabric catching the air mid-movement — gives painters a wealth of texture to work into, whether you go for ink-washed natural linens or a more striking colour scheme befitting a wandering martial artist from distant lands.

This is a multipart miniature supplied with both a plain base and a no-base option, letting you choose the mounting method that best suits your table or display setup.

Suits adventurers who:

• Play Tabaxi Monks and want a sculpt that genuinely captures the class's martial fluidity
• Need a focused, disciplined NPC monk for a monastery encounter or martial arts tournament arc
• Appreciate fine textile detail and expressive feline anatomy as a painting project
• Want a lightweight, characterful piece equally suited to the gaming table and the display shelf

Encounter Hook

The party arrives at the mountain monastery seeking guidance from the Order of the Fractured Wind — only to find Ray standing alone in the courtyard, staff in hand, surrounded by the unconscious forms of six would-be raiders. She doesn't explain. She simply gestures toward the gate and says, "The Elder is ready for you." What she doesn't say is that she's been fighting off incursions for three days straight and the Elder has been dead for two of them.
