Sylth is a lithe, hooded warrior whose design sits at the crossroads of fey assassin and forest duelist. This is variation 02 of the Sylth sculpt from Great Grimoire — distinct from the first pose in her wider stance and the way she holds both blades extended, as though she has already calculated every possible exchange and found them all survivable.
Her armour is a marvel of detail: organic leaf and thorn motifs run along the bracers, shin guards, and shoulder plates, giving the impression of living wood shaped into war-gear rather than forged metal. The deep hood frames her angular, almost inhuman features — sharp eyes and a faintly unsettling stillness that suggests she heard you coming long before you saw her.
Three views of Sylth 02 are available — a three-quarter combat pose with blades raised and cloak swept back, a front-on stance with both swords extended at her sides, and a rear view showcasing the flowing cloak and intricate back armour. Each angle reveals fresh detail in the sculpt, making her a rewarding miniature to paint and a striking one to place on the table.
She works beautifully as a Fey assassin, a drow bladedancer, a ranger-rogue multiclass player character, or as a named NPC — a neutral blade who serves whichever court currently holds her contract.
Particularly well suited to adventurers who:
- Run Feywild campaigns featuring morally ambiguous fey agents
- Want a dual-wielding rogue or ranger miniature with strong visual identity
- Are building an encounter around a masked or hooded assassin
- Paint display miniatures and want a sculpt with layered organic texture
- Play a drow or fey-touched character and need a miniature that fits the aesthetic
Encounter Hook
The party has been hired to escort a noble's youngest child through the Witchwood to the border. On the second night, they find a figure crouched at the edge of camp — Sylth, blades sheathed, watching. She says only: "Someone else wants what you're carrying. I've been asked to make sure they don't get it." Whether she is protection, bait, or something worse entirely is for your players to discover.
