Swordsman of the North (Corsicus) by DM Stash
Description
He has crossed the frozen wastes with nothing but a runed blade, a scaled cloak, and the skull of the last man who underestimated him.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Corsicus, the Swordsman of the North, is not a man who inspires comfort. His scaled dragon-hide cloak sweeps behind him in a battlefield wind, and in one outstretched fist he holds a human skull — a warning, a trophy, or perhaps a grim reminder of where this path leads. In his other hand rests a long, bone-wrought sword, its crossguard twisted into a claw-like form, its pommel crowned with a jagged spike. Layered plate armour, worn leather wrappings, and a fur-lined belt speak to years of brutal northern campaigning. The sculpt rewards close inspection: the scaling across the cloak's full reverse is extraordinary, and the craggy rocky base grounds him in the kind of wild, windswept terrain that exists far beyond city walls.
Whether you place Corsicus on the table as a hardened player character — a Battle Master fighter, an Oath of Vengeance paladin, or a grim Hexblade — or field him as a ruthless northern warlord the party must face across a frozen river, this sculpt carries the weight of a man who has earned every scar. Equally at home on a display shelf as on a battlemat, he is the kind of miniature that generates table conversation before the session even begins.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a hardened fighter or warrior NPC with genuine menace and presence
- Are playing a northern-themed campaign arc or cold-climate setting
- Want a character mini that reads as someone with a long and complicated history
- Are building a display collection of morally complex human warriors
- Play Fighter, Paladin, or Barbarian and want a sculpt that matches the gravitas of the class
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a remote northern settlement to find it silent — every door bolted, every window shuttered. In the centre of the village square stands a single figure, cloak snapping in the bitter wind, sword point resting on the frozen earth, a skull raised in one hand. Corsicus turns slowly as they approach and says only: "I was told you'd be coming. The people who told me won't be telling anyone anything else."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative rocky base are separate pieces, best attached with cyanoacrylate adhesive — the sculpt is designed to interact with the base, so we strongly recommend using it as intended. Arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or for display straight from the box.
