Description

They say the Elves of the Golden Sun move like heat shimmer across the dunes — silent, swift, and gone before you realise the threat has passed.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Elwahid is the Sword of the Sands, a blade-sworn warrior of the Golden Sun elves whose name is spoken in hushed tones along the desert trade routes. This sculpt captures him mid-lunge — his curved scimitar extended forward in a decisive strike, his layered travelling robes and billowing cloak catching an unseen desert wind. The detail across his tabard is exceptional: an intricately carved sun medallion adorns the front panel, and the embossed border work on his robes speaks to a culture that values artistry even in warfare. His deep hood shadows a face set with grim focus, and his wide-stance pose on a rocky desert base gives him real weight and dynamism. The reverse of the cloak reveals a finely textured woven fabric pattern — the kind of detail that rewards a painter who takes their time.

Whether you're running him as a desert ranger, an elven assassin, a sworn protector of a lost oasis city, or a player character build combining Fighter and Rogue — Elwahid brings a distinctive desert-fantasy aesthetic that sets him apart from standard European-medieval miniatures. Equally at home on the gaming table or a display shelf, he's a compelling centrepiece for any desert or sun-elf themed encounter.

Particularly well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Want a characterful desert elf warrior or rogue PC miniature
  • Are running a desert, silk-road, or ancient-civilisation campaign arc
  • Need a memorable named NPC, faction champion, or rival swordsman
  • Collect miniatures from independent fantasy sculpt artists
  • Enjoy painting flowing fabric, layered robes, and intricate carved detail

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to escort a merchant caravan through the Sunscorch Wastes, but on the second night a lone figure steps from the darkness into the firelight — curved blade drawn, hood back, golden sun emblem gleaming at his belt. He is Elwahid, and he tells the party they are carrying something that does not belong to them. Whether he is right, wrong, or simply an instrument of someone else's agenda is entirely up to your Dungeon Master.

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic desert rock base are separate pieces and can be secured with superglue — Elwahid interacts with his base in a way that genuinely benefits from using it together. Printed unpainted and ready for priming, painting, or straight to the table as-is.

For Tabaxi adventurers especially — yes, the cats did purr when this one came through. We noticed too.
