Description
He didn't need a spellbook — he memorised the incantations by flexing hard enough until the magic simply complied.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
The Swolceror is exactly what his name promises: a mountain of a man with a flowing, magnificently textured beard, a knotted wool cap pressed down over a brow permanently furrowed in disdain, and the torso of someone who clearly never skipped an arcane training day. The sculpt is presented as a display bust, mounted on a decorative plinth edged with interlocking Norse-style knotwork — every strand of his beard rendered with individual care, the faint runic clasp at his chest hinting at a history your players are probably better off not asking about.
Whether you're a miniature painter looking for a serious display project or a Dungeon Master who wants the kind of NPC portrait that commands a mantelpiece (or a dungeon throne room), the Swolceror delivers presence in abundance. The texture work across the beard, skin, and base invites layering, contrast painting, and freehand detail work — this is a piece that rewards time at the brush.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want a display bust with serious sculpted detail to showcase their painting technique
- Are building a fantasy bust collection with genuine character
- Need visual inspiration for a grizzled sorcerer, storm-touched barbarian, or ancient sea-chieftain NPC
- Are searching for a distinctive shelf piece or gift for a fellow hobbyist
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the frost-bound longhouse of Ulfgar Stonethane, a sorcerer so old his beard has grown into the floorboards. He doesn't rise to greet them — he simply opens one eye, and the candles flare blue. He already knows why they've come. He's been expecting them for six months. He is not pleased it took this long.
Supplied as a display bust. Printed at scale appropriate to bust display pieces, seated on a knotwork-detailed plinth. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks may occasionally occur and can be tidied with light sanding. Each piece is fully cured before leaving the studio.
