Sweet Mimic 03 by Great Grimoire

- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is the third sculpt in Great Grimoire's Sweet Mimic range, and it might be the most unsettling yet. Ice Cream the Frosting Fiend presents as an innocent waffle cone topped with a slowly melting scoop — but look closer and you'll see the brain-like folds of oozing flesh, a wide-open eyeball bulging from the side, and a slack, vaguely sentient expression that suggests something is very much home. The back of the miniature reveals a smooth, skull-like dome of dripping "ice cream" that drapes over the cone in deeply uncomfortable fashion. This is a creature that has committed fully to the bit, and the bit is terrifying.
Whether you're stocking a cursed sweet shop, populating a fey market gone wrong, or just want to watch your players argue about whether to lick it, this miniature brings a brilliant vein of comic horror to the table. Equally at home on a display shelf as it is lurking in a treasure room, it's a sculpt that rewards a closer look — and will confuse every non-gamer who visits your home.
A fine addition for adventurers who:
- Run trick encounters and want something genuinely unexpected
- Are building a cursed confectionery, fey bazaar, or Candyland dungeon
- Love painting grotesque organic textures — the brain folds and dripping flesh are a dream with contrast paints
- Collect oddities and statement pieces for their display shelf
- Want to punish players who touch things without asking
Encounter Hook:
The halfling insists it's just an ice cream stall — abandoned, yes, but the cones still look fresh. One of the party reaches for the nearest one. The eyeball swivels. The cone does not move. Not yet.
This miniature is scaled to 35mm. If you'd prefer a different scale, get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate you. The model arrives cleaned of supports, though minor marks from the printing process are possible — these are straightforward to tidy up. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
