In D&D 5e, a Swarm of Ravens is far more than a nuisance. These Birds carry an unsettling intelligence, often acting as the eyes of a hag, a necromancer, or something worse lurking just beyond the treeline. On the tabletop, this sculpt captures that chaos brilliantly — a dense, roiling mass of ravens mid-flight, wings overlapping, talons outstretched, conveying the frenzied momentum of a creature that fights as a single shrieking entity. It's the kind of piece that makes your players genuinely uneasy the moment it lands on the mat.
This render shows the full sculpt in grey — a tightly composed cluster of birds in various wing positions, creating real depth and visual texture. Whether you paint each bird individually or go for a unified dark flock effect, this miniature rewards the effort. Equally compelling straight off the base for those who prefer an unpainted display piece.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want atmospheric wildlife encounters that feel genuinely threatening
- Are running campaigns involving druids, hags, or corvid-themed villains
- Need a swarm token with real presence on the battle map
- Collect beast miniatures for display or diorama use
Encounter Hook:
The party emerges from the ruins at dusk to find every surface covered in roosting ravens — hundreds of them, utterly silent. One turns its head. Then another. Then, from somewhere inside the flock, a voice whispers the name of the fighter who died three sessions ago.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The miniature comes with a separate floating base that can be attached with a small amount of super glue, keeping the birds elevated for that mid-flight effect. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks are possible and easily tidied with a hobby knife or fine file.
