Swamp Monster by La Louve 3D
Description
Something has been growing in the heart of the marsh — something that was never meant to exist, fed by dark water and older, stranger things beneath the mud.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This swamp monster is a grotesque marvel of organic horror. The sculpt depicts a hulking, low-slung mass of layered flesh, honeycomb-textured hide, writhing root-like appendages, and a crown of reaching fungal tendrils erupting upward like the fingers of something dragged halfway through from another plane. There is no face to read, no eyes to meet — just the dreadful suggestion of hunger in every contorted surface. It crouches on its base like a creature mid-pulse, as if breathing, as if waiting. This is not a wandering nuisance. This is the thing the village stopped talking about.
Whether you paint it in pallid swamp-greens and necrotic purples, or leave it in raw resin to suggest something freshly emerged from the deep, this miniature carries weight at the table. It works beautifully as a corrupted ooze, a fungal abomination, a manifestation of a cursed bog, or the physical form of a druidic ritual gone catastrophically wrong. Equally at home anchoring a dungeon encounter or commanding a display shelf.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a genuinely unsettling monster to anchor a swamp, dungeon, or corrupted-wilderness encounter
- Are running campaigns with themes of body horror, fungal corruption, or planar taint
- Want a statement centrepiece miniature that rewards careful painting
- Collect display-quality creature sculpts from independent artists
Encounter Hook:
The trail of black spores leads through the fen for nearly a mile before the party finds what left them — a mass of pulsing flesh the size of a cart horse, half-submerged in the shallows, its tendrils already reaching for the nearest ankle. The local guide who warned them not to come this way is nowhere to be seen. Something beneath the surface is moving.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of glue — the sculpt is designed to interact with its base, and the two are best displayed together. Each piece is quality checked before dispatch; minor surface marks from the printing process are possible and can be addressed during prep and priming.
