Sven Bloodaxe is a human barbarian sculpted in the full fury of a charge. One knee is raised as he lunges forward, his ornately engraved greatsword — knotwork and geometric detail running the length of the blade — lifted high and ready to crash down with bone-splitting force. Fur-trimmed armour, wrapped bracers, and hide leg bindings speak to a warrior who has survived cold wilds and brutal campaigns. His bearded face carries the focused intensity of someone who has already decided how this fight ends.
The sculpt is captured from three compelling angles: a bold front-facing charge pose, a dramatic rear three-quarter view that shows the flowing cape and greatsword detail in full, and a sweeping side profile that puts the enormous rune-carved blade centre stage. Whichever angle faces your players across the table, Sven commands attention.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are running a barbarian player character — Path of the Berserker, Totem Warrior, or any Primal Path fits this sculpt
- Need a compelling human warrior NPC — a mercenary captain, a rival champion, or a legendary figure from the party's backstory
- Want a centrepiece miniature for a display painting project, showcasing the blade's intricate knotwork and dynamic cape
- Are building encounters with a named, imposing antagonist — a warlord who challenges the party to single combat
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the contested bridge to find it already held — by a lone warrior who has killed the four soldiers sent ahead of them. Sven Bloodaxe wipes his blade clean on a tattered banner and calls across the water: "Send your best. The rest of you can watch." The DM places the miniature. Nobody at the table laughs.
Sven Bloodaxe is printed at 32mm scale for tabletop use, with a 54mm display scale also available — choose your preference at checkout. The detailed round scenic base, scattered with rubble and debris, is included and attaches cleanly with superglue. Each miniature is printed to a high standard and support-removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor surface marks are possible and can be cleaned up with fine sandpaper before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brush.
