Description

They say Sven Bloodaxe has never once been asked his name before the axe was already swinging — and he considers that a compliment.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a warrior who needs no introduction, only a battlefield. Sven cuts an imposing figure: broad-shouldered and bare-chested beneath a fur-lined pauldron, his horned helmet low over a stern, bearded face. Three distinct sculpts capture him across a range of stances — axe hefted over one shoulder and round shield raised in a guarded advance; standing tall with weapon shouldered and shield at his side in a moment of cold readiness; and a more forward-driving pose, arm cocked back mid-charge with cloak billowing behind him. Every sculpt rewards close attention, from the wood-grain texture of his battered shield to the knotwork engraved into his greataxe head and the layered fur trim across his chest and legs.

Whether you're running a Norse-inspired campaign, a frost-edged wilderness arc, or simply need a barbarian PC or fearsome NPC with genuine gravitas on the table, Sven delivers that in each of his three poses. He's equally at home on a gaming mat or a display shelf — the kind of character piece that DMs and collectors both reach for.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Play barbarian characters and want a commanding, characterful sculpt
  • Need a memorable rival warrior, warlord NPC, or hostile mercenary captain
  • Are building a Viking or northern-themed warband or encounter
  • Collect display-scale pieces and want a figure with strong paintable detail

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to negotiate a truce between two feuding clans — but when they arrive at the moot, Sven Bloodaxe is already there, axe across his shoulder and a contract in his belt from the other side. He doesn't speak first. He waits to see if the party will.

Available at both 32mm tabletop scale and 54mm display scale. Each mini is supplied with a separate scenic base and can be attached with a small amount of superglue. The sculpt is produced with high-quality detail retention — supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process are possible and easily cleaned up at the painting stage.
