Description

Somewhere beneath the ink-black waves, a pressurised hull groans as rivets strain against the deep — and someone inside is very much up to something.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This steampunk submarine is a gloriously detailed vehicle and terrain piece that brings mechanical ingenuity to your tabletop. The sculpt is packed with character: iron-banded hull plates held together with rivets and bolts, a topside pressure valve wheel, a cluttered control panel bristling with gauges and toggles, exposed gear mechanisms along the flanks, a cluster of exhaust pipes beneath the belly, and a broad tail fin sweeping out to one side. It reads immediately as the kind of contraption a gnome artificer or a mad wizard-inventor would commission — functional in the loosest possible sense, and absolutely bristling with story.

Whether it's sitting on the floor of a sea cave, docked in an underground harbour, or crash-landed in a dungeon level that really shouldn't have water in it, this piece adds instant worldbuilding to any encounter. It works equally well as a display centrepiece for collectors who appreciate the craft of a well-designed steampunk sculpt.

Perfectly suited for adventurers who:

  • Run nautical, underdark, or artificer-themed campaigns
  • Want a vehicle prop that doubles as cover on a battle map
  • Are building a gnomish or steampunk diorama or display scene
  • Play or DM with Eberron, Spelljammer, or homebrew industrial settings
  • Collect character-rich terrain and scatter pieces

Encounter Hook:
The party discovers the submarine wedged into a flooded passage three levels below the city sewers. The hull markings match a vessel reported stolen from the Artificers' Guild six months ago — and from inside, very faintly, something is knocking.
