Za'kar is a leonin — lion-headed, broad-shouldered, and crackling with barely contained arcane power. This sculpt captures him mid-incantation, one clawed hand raised to channel energy above his head while a massive crystalline blade of force sweeps low across the ground beside him, its icy-blue surface etched with faint glyphs and frost. His heavy robes billow dramatically, fastened at the chest with ornate clasps, and a layered cape flares behind him in the wake of his casting. Despite the student title, there is nothing tentative about this pose — Za'kar fights like someone who has long since mastered what the scrolls were trying to teach.

The sculpt is rich in surface detail: every buckle on his wide leather belt, the texture of his voluminous robes, and the curling mane framing his fierce feline face are all crisply defined. The sweeping force blade is the centrepiece — a dramatic crystalline form that curves from the cobblestone base up to a jagged apex, giving the piece excellent visual impact from every angle. Painters will find real joy in this one, with the interplay between warm skin tones, flowing fabric, and the blue-white glow of the energy blade offering a rewarding contrast challenge.
